Jordan/Klos 8th Annual Christmas

The Klos' have shared life with us for 8 years now.  We always do a Christmas dinner with them and the kids exchange gifts.  We all have much to be thankful for this year.  What a fun celebration with friends aka family. ~ Jessica

oh Christmas Tree

We always go cut down our own Christmas tree.  This year was a scramble against the quickly darkening sunset, but at least it was dry and less windy than last year.  We found the perfect tree, and we all had fun decorating it.  It really kicks off our holiday season, and it's a tradition I look forward to every year.  ~ Jessica

G was working pretty hard to keep his hat OFF.  Showing off his hair I guess :)

Here is my first attempt at posting some video.  Hopefully it works.  Sorry ... it's sort of long ... I was just having so much fun watching Gavin "decorate."  ~ J

Turkeys

I'm still a total novice with blogger, so pardon the random text and photo alignment.  Thankfully, this blog is not to impress ... it's so our family will stop dropping hints about their desperate need to see pictures of these little turkeys. For Thanksgiving, Tyler and I made the placecards.  They were adorable, and Tyler was so proud. I worked on Thanksgiving and the day after, which happened to be Melinda's 30th birthday. Tyler was so lucky to get to stay up with Melinda on her birthday REALLY late.

The next day, we had lots of people over to watch the Beavers vs Ducks Civil War game.  The boys were so cute in their Beaver gear they had gotten last year from Minda and Jeff. The last pic is of Mr. Gavin at the gym ... that day we literally waited a full hour to get into the childcare but they were such troopers.  I posted it because he just looks like such a big boy!  ~ Jessica

Thanksgiving Feast

I just can't seem to pull it together on the blog issue.  I sort of took a month off to refresh and get excited about it rather than dread it as just another thing to do every day. In fact, I have had my Christmas cards printed for two weeks but have been waiting to send them out because I wanted to include a link to our new blog ... but I had nothing on the blog to even link to.  I'm finally sitting down to work on it. Here are some photos from Tyler's preschool Thanksgiving Feast.  How adorable is our little chief Tyler? Indian Princess Ella looks beautiful as well.  Happy Thanksiving a month late! ~ Jessica
